To end Albania’s transition
For more than 17 years,  an entire generation continues to face a harsh transition reflected in the same problems,  the same politicians,  and very few solutions! It is time for this chapter to be closed. , G99 aims to generate the kind of spirit that will bring to an end to the era of authoritarian,  conflictual,  narrow minded,  clan-based and corrupted politics. 

To bring the best to the service of the public
People with integrity,  able professionals and citizens with genuine capacities for serving the public good are forced to remain absent from the politics,  which have been usurped by the immoral and the corrupt. We aim to create an alternative space in order to ensure participation in policy-making of some of the most capable minds and professionals,  thus promoting their ideas in the Albanian public debate. , Only by doing so can we create a culture of public service and replace personal interests with public ones.

Democratizing democracy
Although we technically live in a democratic system,  the debate and decision-making that has affected our lives throughout this time has been concentrated in the hands of a small group of politicians,  interest-driven and abusers of the public trust. It is for this reason that our citizens feel detached from politics,  indifferent and hopeless.

G99 aims to democratize our democracy,  by bringing citizens closer to governance in every aspect. Only through active participation in decision-making shall the citizens’ trust in politics be restored; only in this way shall the cynical citizen be transformed into an active one.
